For coaches, therapists and course creators
Ten cards, one prediction: know before you post which three get shared.
Your reader's own sentences become ten Instagram cards without a face — spread across the five stages a stranger passes through on her way to becoming a customer. Every card is measured against nine writing rules and six test questions. You predict which three get shared, then check the Instagram numbers after thirty days. Around 65 minutes a month.
No Instagram account needed to start. Everything stays in your browser until you export it. The workshop is in German.
The whole path — five steps
- A stranger scrollsShe does not know you.
- A card landsA sentence she passes on.You are here
- The last cardIt leads to your page.
- A tool, not a PDFFive questions, one result.
- A conversationShe gets in touch herself.
Teddy Carousel covers steps 2 and 3. What happens once she reaches your page is Teddy-LMC.
The problem
You have posted for years and still cannot say which sentences get shared.
Most carousel tools take a topic and hand you slides. They look good. Then come 84 likes and three comments, and nobody can say why one card was shared 400 times and the next one, just as pretty, twice. Without a prediction there is no learning — every month starts from zero.
Advice loses. This card tells your reader what she is doing wrong. She might like it; she will not pass it on. Sharing it would mean admitting: I am the one getting this wrong.
Relief wins. „Maybe you are not too sensitive. Maybe you are the only one in the room who still notices what is happening." Same content, no verdict — she can pass it on without explaining herself.
The principle
What gets shared is what people would not say themselves.
Your reader carries sentences she would never post: I work harder than anyone sees. I have outgrown people I once wanted. My life is good and I earned it. I am not the problem here. Every one of them is true. But anyone who writes that about herself sounds arrogant or needy — and gets pushback. That does not require anyone to be unkind, only an audience.
A card is the way out. Your reader shares it, and the sentence has been said — by somebody else. If anyone asks, she did not say it; she just thought it was well put. That is why advice loses against cards like these, and not by a small margin: advice is about you as a coach. A good card is about her — and that she can hold up proudly.
Where this comes from: the method (eight sentence patterns, nine writing rules, six test questions) comes from a purchased course programme. Its author analysed more than a hundred of her own posts for how often they were shared. That is a professional source with numbers behind it, but not confirmed by Instagram [SECONDARY]. All example texts are our own.
How it works
One goal, seven stations, around 65 minutes a month.
Before the first station you choose: reach, retention or sales. One goal per month — trying to have all three loses on all three counts. The goal decides which number matters at the end.
- Your readerTen to forty sentences in her words — from messages, long comments, the first minutes of a conversation. Mark the self-reproaches: those become the cards with the best chance of being passed on.5 min
- The feelingOne sentence becomes the feeling everything revolves around this month. From it comes your card plan: that one feeling across five stages, from „has a problem but does not name it" to „open to an offer".5 min
- WritingEight sentence patterns as templates with gaps. Write fast and without ambition; on request an AI suggests drafts — labelled as AI until you edit them.20 min
- CraftNine writing rules checked automatically: softeners, form of address, tense, quotation marks, marketing verbs, concrete images, sentence rhythm, the closing turn, word count.15 min
- TestingSix yes/no questions per card produce an order. That is your prediction, recorded before you post.10 min
- ExportFive fixed design rules, the last card that leads to you, all eleven cards as PNG at 1080 × 1350 — plus the caption, checked.10 min
- MeasuringAfter thirty days enter how often each card was shared and saved. Are your three favourites among the real top five? Then you can do it.after 30 days
The eight sentence patterns
Each one says something your reader thinks — and removes the risk of saying it herself.
| Pattern | What she thinks but does not say | How it would sound coming from her | How often it works |
|---|---|---|---|
| Era label | I am done with that. | like being „difficult" | usually |
| Maturity ledger | I have outgrown things I once wanted. | arrogant | usually · biggest effect |
| Answered wish | My life is good, earned — and hard. | smug | usually |
| Redefinition | I am doing better than you measure. | defensive about money | about every other time |
| Permission slip | Someone should be kinder to me. | needy | every other time · sent privately rather than posted |
| The refrain | I have had enough — here is the list. | like a rant | about every other time |
| Invisible work | I work harder than anyone sees. | like fishing for praise | rare, but then very strong |
| Reframe | This is not my fault. | defensive | rare, but strongest of all |
Measuring
Shares and saves. Not likes, not comments.
A post with 84,000 likes and 150 comments is a flop by comment standards. It was shared 6,500 times — and grew the account [SECONDARY]. Instagram itself names how often a post is sent on as one of its three main ranking signals [OFFICIAL]. A good card ends a conversation. It does not start one. Lots of comments usually mean: it was contentious.
You put ten cards in order using the test questions. Only then do you publish. Without that step there is nothing to learn from.
Are your three favourites among the real top five? Then you can predict. After two or three months you know which patterns work for your reader.
Likes but nobody shares? Almost always test question 2. Nothing lands at all? You paraphrased instead of using her words.

The funnel
A funnel with three levels — and the two tools sit at different points.
A funnel is the path a person takes from first noticing you to deciding to buy. Many at the top, few at the bottom — hence the shape. The model is old and well documented: it goes back to the AIDA advertising formula of 1898 [SECONDARY].
A stranger notices you at all. She is not searching, she is scrolling.
She reads things from you more than once, understands them and passes them on. That is what the five stages in the card plan are for: from „has a problem but does not name it“ to „open to an offer“.
She gives something of herself — an answer, an email address — and becomes reachable.
Ten cards work at the top and in the middle. The eleventh does not say „follow me“, it describes a place: „If this feels familiar …“. It leads to your page — and there the lead magnet takes over. In the field it counts as the start of the funnel, not the finish: it collects the contact so the conversation can begin at all [SECONDARY].
Both tools run on the same raw material: your reader's own sentences. Collect them once and you can build both — the cards and the questions in the lead magnet. Not double work, but one foundation used twice.
Questions
What you want to know before you open it
Is the workshop available in English?
Not yet. The nine writing rules check German wording — softeners like „vielleicht", German marketing verbs, German sentence rhythm. An English version would need its own rule set, not a translation. This page explains the method; the tool itself is German.
What is a carousel without a face?
A carousel with no person in it. It is recognised by five fixed design rules — background colour, ink colour, one typeface, wide margin, a small mark — instead of by a face. Decided once, never changed again.
Why ten cards and not one story across ten slides?
Because Instagram tests which card it shows to strangers first — the first or the second. A teaser card at the front wastes one of the two slots the platform actively promotes. Every card has to work on its own.
Do I need an Instagram business account?
No. You enter the numbers from your Instagram insights by hand. An automatic connection needs a business or creator account and approval from Meta; that is a later stage.
Where is my data?
In your browser. The workshop saves locally and exports to a file on request. Only if you ask for AI suggestions do your sentences leave the browser — without being stored, labelled under EU AI Act Article 50.
