Have AI agents built: hand over the work, keep control

An AI agent completes a task in several steps on its own. It reads, searches, checks and prepares a result. We build agents like this for your business. A person approves important steps such as sending.

Fixed price in writing before you commit · The call places you under no obligation

What it is

What an AI agent is – and what it isn't

A chatbot answers questions. An AI agent acts: it uses tools such as your mailbox, a search or a price list and works through a task step by step.

What the agent handles

  • Reading and sorting incoming enquiries
  • Spotting missing details
  • Preparing a draft or a quote

What stays with you

  • Approval before anything goes to customers
  • Deciding which data the agent may see
  • The decision in each individual case
Why now

Why this matters now

Many companies are planning this step right now. Starting with a single task builds experience without a big project.

11%

of companies in Germany already use AI agents, and a further 29% plan to (Bitkom, September 2026)

44%

of surveyed companies in Austria already use AI actively (KMU Forschung Austria for the Austrian Economic Chamber, April 2026)

46%

name data-protection concerns as a brake (same source) – which is why we settle data protection before building

Examples

3 examples from our own business

Pre-sorting enquiries

Our mailbox tool TeddyMail reads every customer email first. It recognises who is writing, what they want and how urgent it is.

  • Suggests a draft reply
  • Sends nothing by itself
  • Treats customer text as material, never as an instruction

Quotes without copy errors

Quotes are built from a single price list with a cut-off date, so an expired price can no longer slip into a quote.

  • Company, contact person and salutation come from the enquiry
  • The cut-off date is checked automatically

Checking claims against sources

TeddyCheck independently searches a fixed list of reputable publishers and shows what supports a claim and what speaks against it.

  • Sources such as Statistics Austria, Eurostat and the WHO
  • Fewer than 2 usable sources: honestly, no result
  • Try TeddyCheck yourself (German page with an EN button)
Process

How we work

  1. First call

Which task costs you time every day, and which data does the agent need for it?

  2. Fixed price

You receive the scope and price in writing before you commit.

  3. Build and test

We test the agent with real examples from your day-to-day work.

  4. Operation

If the agent fails, you get a warning email – not a customer complaint first.

Law

Data protection and EU law

If an agent talks directly to your customers, they must be able to tell that they are writing with an AI. In the EU, Article 50 of the AI Act has required this since 2 August 2026.

Anyone who works with AI in a business should be supported in using it safely. Article 4 requires this. What that means in practice is explained on our page on AI training under Article 4 (German).

We set down in writing before the build which data the agent sees and with which service it is processed. We do not offer legal advice.

Prices

What it costs

The first call costs nothing. An AI agent costs from €2,490 one-off; most cost between €2,500 and €8,000, depending on the task and data sources. Operation comes on top from €99 a month: AI usage, monitoring and a warning email if it fails. You receive the fixed price in writing – before you commit.

€0

for the first call – even if no order follows

from €2,490

one-off for an AI agent, usually €2,500 to €8,000 – plus operation from €99 a month, cancellable monthly (hotel apps also from €2,490)

€95

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is an AI agent?

An AI agent is a program built on a language model that completes a task in several steps on its own. It uses tools such as a search, a mailbox or a price list and delivers a result for you to check.

What is the difference between an AI agent and a chatbot?

A chatbot answers questions. An AI agent acts: it gathers information, checks it and prepares something, such as a draft reply or a quote.

Can I build an AI agent myself?

For simple tasks, yes, for example with Microsoft Copilot Studio or n8n. It gets demanding once the agent is connected to your systems, works with customer data and has to run reliably. That is where we can take on the build.

What does an AI agent cost?

From €2,490 one-off; most agents cost between €2,500 and €8,000, depending on the task and the connected systems. The first call is free; after it we name the fixed price in writing. Operation comes on top from €99 a month for AI usage and monitoring, cancellable monthly.

Is an AI agent compatible with data protection rules?

That depends on which data it processes and with which provider. We set this down in writing before the build. The agent only gets access to what it needs for its task. This does not replace legal advice.

Are there examples of AI agents in a business?

Yes, from our own business: pre-sorting enquiries with a draft reply, quotes from a checked price list and checking claims against sources. The details are further up this page.

Do you work with businesses outside Austria?

We are based in Austria and work with businesses across the German-speaking region. Coordination runs by email and phone. Whether we can take on a project elsewhere, we clarify in the free first call.
